Hello Louiss,

Would you mind elaborating "turn-off text in the right sidebar"? Are you referring to hiding right-hand tools pane?

If you are referring to hide the right-hand tools pane, please go to Acrobat preference Go to Edit > Preferences > Documents, and then select Remember the current state of Tools pane.

> Open a PDF document and then collapse the Tools pane.

> Click OK and relaunch Acrobat.

If you have a different query, please elaborate and share a screenshot, to share the screenshot, please refer to https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Feel free to update this discussion for any further assistance.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

No I would like to use less space in the tools right hand pain by only showing the icons without the description of the item

I am sorry, but this feature is not available is Acrobat, as you cannot remove the Tools name from the right-hand tool pane, and keep the icons only.

If you wish to hide the Tools pane, you can refer to Permanently close the Tools pane in Acrobat Reader DC

You can also refer to the following KB docs which discuss the similar scenario How do I remove the right hand pane in Reader DC (LOCKED) Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1817184

How to hide right side tool bar by default.

Feel free to update this discussion for any further assistance.

Anand Sri.
