can't open illustrator anymore keeps saying java update

So i recently updated my macbook pro software to the latest version and now none of my adobe suites will open like illustrator, keeps coming up with the same message need to install java run se 6 etc. but when i do click on the more option and download java it still will not open and I keep going through the same cycle how do I get all my ai, ps, id back I need them for work :S

there are possible solutions to the Java issue here:

Pls just tell me how - CS6 Yosemite Java

if there are any other problems, your best bet is to roll back to an earlier OS if possible. Creative Suite versions and the latest Mac OS are not compatible.
