CC 2018: Generator issue

Hi,

I have CC 2018 installations on both a Macbook 12" as well as on an Macbook Pro 15". Both run the latest MacOS.

Whereas CC 2018 runs well on the Pro, I always get a Generator issue window on startup on the Macbook.

The Generator log shows: " (1;31muser settings file could not be created "

followed by an uncaught exception "  Error trace: Error: listen EADDRNOTAVAIL  127.0.0.1  "

I am i.e. not able to export any files to jpg.

Any help appreciated.
