page thumbnails default magnification

We have a workflow where we use thumbnails for every document that we open. This is a volume based workflow and it would be convenient if the magnification of the thumbnails would stay the same or if there was a place we could set the default magnification for the page thumbnails, instead of the magnification always going to the smallest value. Any one have a solution? Thanks!
