I have created projects before in Robo 7 but now when I click New Project under Create New, nothing happens.

I tried cleaning out some projects, deleting them. No luck.

Have you been working on some fairly memory intensive applications? It may be worth rebooting and trying again. I assume you are not working over a network (bad) as this would also be a possible cause.

Thanks, Colum. But that is not it. I try it with absolutely nothing loaded up, and it just sits there. When I click File > New Project, there is nothing listed in the box in the New tab. It's not giving me any choices for project types. Maybe there's something there.

I suppose I can just reinstall . . .

You say you could create new projects but can't now so something must have changed to cause this. You didn't answer whether you were creating the project on a network drive (bad) or a local drive (good). Can you open an existing project? Can you tell us whether you are using RH for Word or RH HTML.

Sorry, Colum. No, I'm not on a network. And I'm using RoboHelp HTML. None of the items under Create New work, nor does the File > New Project approach work.

This is not a dual monitor problem by any chance?

I thought that might be it. No, I don't use dual monitors, but occasionally my TPad screen goes blank and I press Fn-F7 to restore it. However, that wasn't the cure.

When I click WebHelp under Create New, I do see some flicker of activity in that little barrel-shaped light on my TPad. As if it's trying . . .

Thanks for your efforts!

Given that it does not take long, I think perhaps it is time to try uninstalling and reinstalling RH.
