When I create text in CS2 and commit it, all I see is a small flickering black sample.  I can not get text to appear correctly..........I have followed all instructions on the interne and here, still nothing.

Has CS2 always done this in the 10 years or so you had it, or has this just started? What did you change?

TextTool.png

If so - use the 'black filled T' tool instead.

You are using the Type Mask Tool instead of the Type Tool and what you see as flickers are the marching ants.

The Horizontal Type Tool is the top one in the tool tip.

Avoid posting your personal address and telefoon numbers - you are asking for trouble if you do.

Would one of the moderators be so kind, and remove that information?
