VR - immersive video, issue with VR sphere to plane

I am using After Effects CC2018 and I have issue s with using Sphere to Plane.

I need to create camera movement within a 360 video shot.

I apply the effect and it seems to be fine, but when I add a CAMERA layer it shows up like a zoom blur effect and I am not able to move the camera around.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried this in After Effects 15.1 yet? Please do so and let us know the results.
