When applying Lighting Effects to an image, is it better to do this before and other adjustments, or to do it after applying all your other adjustments?

Thanks.

I don't think there are hard & fast rules here.  Personally, I prefer to do lighting effects on separate layers after my adjustments, etc...  But you may have situations where additional adjustments are necessary.  So stay flexible.
