Hello everyone,

Usually, I don't like to bother communities with problems like this, but this one has been annoying me too much and I hope anyone from here can help me.

The "bug" I'm talking about is the one in the screenshot, it shows when (for example) I select an image and move it, once I deselect, it keeps showing and something kinda glitches. If I zoom in and out it disappears.

Example1 - Screenshot of the Problem

It's kinda annoying to zoom in/out every time I move anything on Photoshop.

I'm sure I messed with some setting and it's my own fault. Can you please help?

I only see one screenshot. So hard to see what the problem is. You can attach screenshots directly in your posts in this forum as well.

I've only attached that one.

It's the lines I marked with the red rectangle that keep showing after I deselect stuff and only disappear when I zoom in / out.

The lines you see will show because when you select something to move it you are also selecting the layer. Simply clicking on another layer should get rid if the lines.

Does it also have lines if you move a graphic element that is not text or a shape?

Yeah, all of them stay on screen until I zoom in or out. And they disappear.

What if you just select a different layer?

Or a Deselect All (CMD/CONTROL + d)?

Also try checking or un-checking the auto select setting.

You're not understanding. That still appears as a bug, some kind of visual glitch. I don't have anything selected.

That appears when for example I resize a rectangle, then I select other tool and it's meant to disappear these lines, but no, they still show but aren't clickable. It's some kind of refresh bug I guess.

Haven't you even seen anything like it?

A lot of times it has something to do with the graphics processor or a driver.

Other times your hardware may not be up to the job. Photoshop taxes hardware like few other apps. That why we hear "but there's no problems in Paint."

For a start, try this checklist: Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues

If no satisfaction, you can use an earlier version of CC, 2017 for example.

Come to think of it, if you go to Help > System Info and click on the Copy button, you can ctrl or cmd v Edit > Paste) the information into your reply to give us something to go on.
