Adobe application manager keeps crashing at 02:00

I have Photoshop elements 11 and premiere elements 11, together with Acrobat reader.

For about the last month every day my reliability history shows AAM has stopped working.

I have read other discussions on this problem, and tried to implement the three steps to "fix" the problem.

Delete

a: program files Adobe

b: program data common files adobe

c: open run command and type APPDATA>Local>adobe

download and run the application manager

I think I deleted the right files/directories, but when I try to run the command it comes back as not recognised as a command.

I downloaded and ran the AAM update, but I'm still crashing.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
