Resolution too high for Photoshop

I have to Export a PSD file. It's a A40 Paper size. My resolution is 19866 x 28087 at 300 PPI. Photoshop can't export files with that Resolution. so what do I do.

Oh so you're trying to make a PNG. Use Save as, not Export.

The resolution is 300 ppi, that's no problem. You mean the image size is too high? I don't think it cares that you have a 66 x 93 inch file either. You mean the size in pixels is too high? Or the file size, more than the 2GB limit for PSD (so use PSB) What error do you get?

ow, yes the image size then. the file is 1,23 GB so thats no problem. photoshop auto changed the image and canvas size. and it wont go bigger.

Hi

You will need to Save not Export. The export functions were designed for web use and are limited in pixel size. In addition you cannot export as PSD.

So just use save and save as PSD (or PSB if filesize exceeds 2GB)

Same thing for JPEG. Don't use Export, it isn't for big files. Used to be called "save for web", and it was obvious then. This is not a helpful name change, Adobe.
