Can you control an encrypted document?

Hi all, We are using Acrobat Pro to rout documents for signature. The process works great as far as getting signatures and confirming them as signatures, but the problem we are facing is that when the document is finally signed be everyone, it needs to be controlled by our QA department who files it to its "live/final" location. Because the file is already encrypted, it does not allow for it to be identified as "controlled" at the end of the process. I'm looking for some help from power users or folks with a better process!

Thanks!

Add an additional signature field for the QA dept. to sign when they get the final version.

unfortunately because the file is encrypted and secured, we cannot resign. Unless you mean for a physical signature?

Well, this is something you need to set up in advance. For the files that are already signed you have a problem. You will need to have signers invalidate their signature, or (maybe better) sign a new copy of the file again, this time with the additional signature field.

Test it out before distributing it and make sure that it works for you, though.
