Program error when using the move tool

Hi everyone,

I'm using this version of photoshop: Adobe Photoshop Version: 19.1.2 20180302.r.277 2018/03/02: 1160083  x64

I've made sure that my program is up to date.

I am consistently getting a program error when I use the move tool. It says: "Cannot nudge because of a program error.".

Is there a solution to this?  It's quite annoying as I am a web designer and use photoshop all day long and have to save, close, re-open or reboot...

Thanks!

Iris

First try restarting your computer to see if that helps.

Next try to reset the preferences (ctrl-k on windows or cmd-k on mac for preference panel) You will find the button to reset the preferences at the bottom of the panel.

If that don't work, try uninstalling Photoshop, restart your computer then reinstall Photoshop.

If none of the above helps let us know.
