Photoshop CS 6 key problem

Hi all.

I got transferred a Photoshop CS 6 license to my adobe account. In detail these are 2 licenses, one for CS 4 and an upgrade license for CS 6 (13.0, not extended).

My problem is, that I cant use the serial of CS 6 for the install of CS 6. I downloaded the original software of CS 6 from the adobe page, but the serial neither CS 6 nor CS 4 would be accepted.

I can install CS 4 with my serial without any problems.

What can be the reason that the serial key, which is correlated to my adobe account, does not work? Is it may be the upgrade license? And how can I solve the problem?

Many thanks

Stefan
