Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can help. I'm just setting up a new machine. On my old one Photoshop would remember the thumbnails of folders I had worked in. So the next day when I'd return to editing the thumbnails would all already be loaded (or load very quickly).
Now it seems that each time I open the program it has to re-generate the thumbnails and is quite slow.
Any suggestions???
Thanks!

Hi
It would help if you provided more info, system specs, Photoshop and OS versions, how are you viewing the thumbnails

If your using latest windows 10 creators update there is a bug in it regarding the thumbnails not being saved between restarts.
Since photoshop uses windows explorer for the open dialog that bug would affect photoshop as well

Thanks so much. That regedit solved things!!
Never would have figured that out on my own.
Much appreciated!
