Presenter 7 won't publish to PDF

I have Adobe Presenter 7 ( 7.0.2 build 7464) and I have a 22 slide 6MB PowerPoint2007 presentation. No animations or builds. Presenter publishes to SWF fine. But when I publish to PDF, I get "Adobe Presenter cannot publish this presentation. Unknown error." Any suggestions what I can do?

I saved the presentation as a PowerPoint 2003 file, and re-published and now it works -- I get a working PDF file! And the output has proper font spacing and kerning as well.
