Vielen Dank

Celina

It is often necessary to trash the saved prefs after updating the OS.

Quit Lightroom

Go to the preferences folder in your user library and trash the two plist files:

com.adobe.lightroom4.plist

com.adobe.lightroom4.LSSharedFileList.plist

Go to this location, substituting your own user name for 99jon

Macintosh HD/Users/99jon/Library/Preferences

Lightroom 4 is known to not run properly under OS X 10.13 and later.

If that's the problem, you need to either upgrade (purchase) your Lightroom to Lightroom Classic CC, or roll back your operating system to OS X 10.12.6

If trashing the prefs makes no difference, you can purchase LR6 standalone (not subscription) at the upgrade price.

Start with a trial.

Download and install LR6.0 (727MB)

Install the 6.14 patch

Download Photoshop Lightroom

If you are happy after the trial simply purchase and validate with your upgrade serial number for LR6 and previous serial number for LR4.

No need to uninstall and re-install. So you get to test the application before purchase.

Unfortunately I couldn’t trash these two files because I don’t have them on my Mac book, I will try the trial version of Lightroom6
