I am using RoboHelp 7 and have been presented with htm files that have been translated into Hindi for a client. It does not appear that Hindi is a lanuage available in the html help project settings. It seems that almost every other language is suported but none for India. Am I looking at something wrong?

The supported languages are listed at http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh7/rh7.htm and Hindi is not one of them.

Thanks Peter! That's what I thought. Any idea if they plan on support for the Indian languages soon? . How's the snow over there??

The languages have not changed in RoboHelp 8.

See the pictures from our home.

Thanks Again Peter! Ok, so any ideas what us die hard RoboHelp users are to do when we have a project to be presented to a client in India? I don't know if it is just me, but with so many businesses moving or sending work to India that there would be a real need for this.

Thanks for the pictures!

Hi there

Keep in mind that as you stated yourself: ...but with so many businesses moving or sending work to India...

I'd guess that most of the development work being done in India is actually occurring for an English speaking country.

As a result, I'd be willing to bet that nearly everyone there using software understands English.

Just an observation... Rick

Hi Rick!
That was the first thing that I questioned with this project. After so many years working with programmers from all over the world I have come to realize that most of them speak and read English very well. The only thing that I can offer is that the client has made it one of the deliverable requirements.

Submit a feature request. The more people who ask for something, the more likely you are to see it.
