Hello, since the update, I do have strange green purple stripes.
I don't know what to do against it. Anyone who can help me?
I do use .mp4 files (taken on my Samsung S8+),
also tested MVI (from my Canon 750d)
Thank you!
I had the same problem and a person at Adobe Customer service resolved it. When you open your project you go in
FILE / PROJECT SETTING/ GENERAL in video rendering and playback in RENDERER you change:
Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL)
FOR:
Mercury Playback Engine Software Only
Hope it will help! Camélia

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

Thanks for this info. Does anyone know if there is a fix that allows us to use GPU acceleration again without the purple and green playback? Switching to software only solves the color issue but editing and exporting is painful without the GPU? I've updated my drivers and nothing changed unfortunately.

NO. When rendering or just editing with Mercury Playback Software is very slow and throws us back 5 years. I wish they could fix this, its very annoying.

Thanks but I have a processor and videocard on my laptop, so the processor isnt used for editing or gaming.
Yes, i reinstalled the nvidea software. It took me about an hour to reinstall. I went to their website and got it there, making sure I get updates.
Then I restarted the computer and the drop down had the open CL and open CUDA options. For AMD use open CL.

I have a Nvidea GTX1070 so I use Open CUDA for rendering, etc.
Thank you.
