Hello,

I habe been using reCAPTCHA V1 on my website for a long time. I used the reCAPTCHA Widget of Adobe Muse. Since the version 1 won't be supported due the ende of March, I have to replace it with the version 2. For version 2 I have the two keys, which I have installed exactly according to instructions. The image selection and "I'm not a robot" work properly. After clicking on the send button, I get the message "an error is occurred on the server" and no further explanation. The current stable version of PHP is running on the server of the website. The experts of my hosting company find no wrong issues. I deleted the keys and requested for new keys. Ichecked and repeated everything twice and three times. The error message always appears and the post is not sent. If I turn off reCAPTCHA, or set reCAPTCHA V1 the contact form works perfectly.

Does somebody has any idea?

If you want to check it yourself, go to https://macwinpraxis.de/kontakt.html

PS. As I use the reCAPTCHA Widget of Adobe Muse, I have no possibility to use the complete reCAPTCHA code from Google directly into the website.

Hello macwin,

I suggest you follow the instructions of this doc - reCAPTCHA 2.0 server error -- SOLVED which has resolved most of the server issues with Recaptcha 2.

Please note that these settings have to be made at server side.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Ankush

Hello

I in turn encounter the problem of the error of reCAPTCHA v2 from google.
I am using Muse v18.1.1 with the integrated reCaptcha V2 contact form.
I opened the rights in 777 of the "scripts" folder containing the PHP files.
The variable "allow_url_fopen" is set to 'on' on the hosting server. (NEODOMAIN).
 - PHP version ok
  - Mail configuration: No known problems detected with php mail configuration.
   - Spam control: Emails will be limited to 25 in 2 hours from the same IP address.
The site key and the secret key are correctly integrated.
The form sending address is that of my domain.
The domain name is entered in the Google reCAPTCHA settings.
However google indicates: We have detected that your site does not check the solutions provided for reCAPTCHA tests. You must verify them in order to correctly use the reCAPTCHA functionality on your site.
For information, the form works without reCAPTCHA v2.
I can't find solutions to this problem.
I've been going around in circles for days.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards.

Hello Ankush

Thank you so much for your help on this matter.

I was able to change this myself directly on my web hosting provider (Infomaniak).
Their configuration panel shows this as a configuration option.
Once contacted they provided me with instructions.
Everything works as expected now.

Best Regards,

João Saragoça
