I have a picture and I want to cut the middle part of it, so I can put another image in the middle of the picture, but I don't know how to do it. I don't want to crop the image, I want to cut the middle. How do I do it?
Make a selection of the area you want to remove and with the image layer selected in the layers panel, use Layer >Layer Mask >Hide Selection. This will make a "hole" in the layer. Put your replacement image on the layer beneath (you can drag layers up and down in the layer panel to change the order). You may need to use Edit >Transform >Scale to get the new are to fit.
