panoramic/360 image from a 3D object in photoshop

I have a 3D mesh in photoshop and would like to make a panoramic/360 image out of it. When I go to, 3d-New Mesh from layer-Mesh Preset-Spherical Panorama, it doesn't take it as a 3D image and warps the image. please see the images for references! is there a better way to create a 360/panoramic image from the 3d mesh?

(first image is an image of the 3d mesh before applying spherical panoramic) (this is what I would want it to look like and it should be easy cause it is a 3d Mesh)
