Is there a way to tell premiere to zoom to the size of the clip or failing that, Is there a keyboard shortcut?
If the timeline is selected and your press the "\" forward slash key, the timeline will zoom to show the clips on the timeline edge to edge in the timeline window.
So if you have 2 two second clips and you press the "\" key, the timeline will display just those 4 seconds - 2 five second clips and press the "]" key and it will display 10 seconds of the timeline.
The other two keys that will be of interest to you are the "-" minus key and the "=" equals key. If the timeline is active, pressing the "
