What the hell is this version? Right after the update, I'm having trouble with an error that creates a rectangle.

You really need to provide more info, exactly what error are you getting and what are you doing when you get the error, also a screenshot would help along with system specs and OS version.

This is what happens when you zoom in after you update it. How do I fix it?

Try resetting Photoshop preferences

Hit Ctrl + K and in the general tab select this option, restart Photoshop

Thank you. However, the same symptoms persist. It seems like it's a matter of updating ...

Go to Preferences > Performance and uncheck Use Graphics Processor. Then restart Photoshop. Does that solve the problem?
