Previously I had some issues with PNG files (probably due to bugs in the software).
My project appeared like this:
I solved the problem by exporting this as a XML file, then import this file to a previous version of PP and it works fine for me!
Good point is that it works! And basically the sequence remains the same, you don't have to do everything over again.
However, the down point of this method is all my effects, masks and frame holds are gone and I gotta fix them manually.
Also, 2 video tracks of mine disappeared (while they still appeared in the original PP file), I just don't know why 😕
Any better ideas that work?
P/s: The the newest version of PP is on my Mac and I used my Window PC with an earlier version to tackle the problem.

There are some definite bugs with this release, no question. The PNG/alpha issue ... yea. Some other oddities also. But as someone who's been active here for over five years, and a bunch of release cycles, there are far fewer main common issues than most previous releases. So to me, there's been some progress.
But oh, there's still a few doozies, and if they hit you (and I've been there also!) ... it's massive.

I was able to work around this issue by importing my PNGs into a Photoshop file and creating a corresponding layer for each PNG. Then I imported the PSD into Premiere and didn't have any issues.

Idk if it's my setting or anything else but my PP cannot read PSD files.

Try going with your png file to after effects and export it from there or snapshot as png for now until the bug is fixed

We have a lot of PNG Files in our Sequenze,
so it's a lot of work to change to PSD or other Formats.

are you applying the 'Transform' effect to your PNGs ?
if so, turn off 'use composition shutter angle' in the transform properties
and check if that works

If you create a script with the actions panel in Ps (hit record and then do the steps manually, save the action and repeat it for each file) then changing PNGs to PSDs is a matter of minutes.
Hope this helps.

ADOBE & Cuda
mmmmm we think,
GPU power is not the way from ADOBE,
so we change the render engine,
and it's run.
PS.: Before we make this we delete all Chaches and prevs

How do I update? When I check for updates in the CC app, it does not show the 12.1.1 update for PPro. Is there a way to force it?

Probably sign out of the CC app, reboot, and sign in if it doesn't auto-sign in.

Thanks for the tip, but it didn't work. I think the problem is because it's an enterprise install. I have a feeling our accounts are locked out of upgrades without my company's consent. In touch with my IT dept.
