When I crop a vector smart-object it warps and distorts

Myself and fellow designers noticed when vector smart objects are cropped in Photoshop CC they are distorted and warped.

Any ideas?

How are you cropping them? When does the distortion happen? I have experience problems with distortion when exporting jpeg or png from a Photoshop document that contains a transformed smart object. Is this what you are experiencing, or is it something else?
