SO I use Photoshop CC 2017

and i just use photoshop (Pen to screen) to draw doodles and stuff, hobbyist art.

BUT RECENTLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOH BOI

My pen has been acting the job my fingers so, moving around the canvas and its really frustrating! Does anyone know how to fix this? I tested it with the 2018 and animate to see if it did the same thing and it didn't, plus its not like i can update my version, if i do then it won't be the version I like to use anymore,,, I'm just really frustrated, it keeps stopping features and i thought i could live with it but this is crossing the line!

I uninstalled the last Adobe Flash Player update, that worked for me on the Gaomon PD1560 Tablet.

Hi

It sounds like you have the same issue being experienced by Wacom users.

The latest windows update (KB4093112)  has caused an issue with the Wacom tablet and Photoshop.

You can either - undo the update

or

Do the following (recommended) :

1. Use notepad to create a text file and type in :

UseSystemStylus 0

2. Save the file as PSUserConfig.txt in the following location
C: > Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings

3. Go to the  tablet properties and uncheck "Use Windows Ink"

4. Restart Photoshop

That is it - all should now work well (you need to do all the above steps to retain pen pressure)

Note : There is a third option. Microsoft made this change intentionally and they have issued a way round it with registry change (see link below). However for  Photoshop the PSUserConfig method works.

Note 2 : If you have another version of Photoshop installed e.g. CC2017 then you will need to add the file to the CC2017 folders

Hello I am having difficulty doing the method you recommend. I am having trouble saving the text file.

I get a message that says I do not have permission to access and save in the files.

I’m not very good with computer files.
