How deregister software to sell?

Is it legal and possible to de-register a serial number for Adobe software (ex: CS4) so it can be re-sold with a valid serial number?

Looking at my software it states "WEB PREMIUM UPSL".  Is this an upgrade package, or a full license, can not recall?  What does "UPSL" stand for?  Thanks.
