Photoshop CS6 - says i have to renew my subscription??

Hi All,

I'm a little stuck / confused here... I purchased Photoshop CS6 some years ago for around £700, but now when i try to open/use it i get a notification from Adobe Creative Cloud to "Renew your subscription" ? Since i have purchased CS6, why am i being asked to then pay a monthly subscription?

Any clarity on this issue would be much appreciated.
