Photoshop CS5 on older imac

Hi all,

Hope someone can help me out.

I use photoshop CS5 and lightroom 2 on a IMAC G5 20inch (2006 model)

I want to buy a secondhand refurbished Imac but want to keep my budget low

My question is will any successor to the 2006 model run my CS5 photoshop and lightroom 2

with no problems.

I really only use photoshop and lightroom on it and for youtube etc.

It's not so much the Mac, it's the operating system. Find the operating systems suitable, and check if the Mac can run that old system. Best to buy one WITH the old system as going backwards may be impossible. Thus, a very old Mac may have already have been updated to a system too new for your software.
