Problems editing Paragraph Styles

Hi everyone!

I am experiencing a problem editing paragraph styles in Indesign. When I open a style I am not able to click on the desired topic to edit. I can toggle around using Tab up to a limit but not click on things and choose from there. If I am able to open anything that opens another window, this window opens up in a different place on the screen. I have had this problem before and this corrected itself in some time but this should obviously not happen this way.

Does anyone know this problem? My CC update on Indesign is up to date.

Sounds like it is time to reset preferences. The files can corrupt over time, and InDesign starts misbehaving.

Start with this post:

Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

If those techniques don't solve this issue (and they should), the try this one:

CC 2018 InDesign—Don't Import previous settings and preferences

This is weird ... now this popped back to normal without me doing anything to fix the problem ...
