Playback is only sound, will not show video

Has anyone else had this issue?

New user.  Issue showed up after premiere pro update, a few days ago.

Also,

Sometimes, I receive this error message "After Effects Error: Cached Preview needs 2 or more frames to playback" When trying to playback.

After Effects, after closing, will still run in the background.  And, will not restart without closing processes.

Things I've tried:

Re-installed After Effects through Creative Cloud 4.0.1.188

Googled the issue. Was able to find two instances, dated a few years back.  Unfortunately, they seem to be related to a program I've not installed on the PC. "Sonic Suite."

No I haven't.  Not even opened AF after the issue.   But now, it's Premier Pro.  Same exact thing. Just happened today. Only a white screen. will play audio but no video.  Very frustrated daily Premier user here.  These are projects that just worked yesterday no issues. All i can find on google is to delete cache.  Opened AF just for the heck of it...... guess what... it's working great....go figure.
