Has anyone experiencing this problem?
After installing the latest updates (April 2018) Lightroom is unresponsive after the PC returns from hibernation and requires a forced shutdown. If the PC doesn't enter hibernation there is no problem.
I have unchecked use Graphics Processor and no improvement.
The previous version was stable and has not exhibited this issue.
Windows 10 64 bit with the latest Microsoft updates.

Yes I am experiencing the same after the upgrade. windows 10 home edition. 64bit. But I am finding its OK in developer module but when I go back to library it freezes. was fine before the upgrade.

I don't have this problem, and use the hibernate/sleep function a lot. So, I don't think it is Lightroom also 7.3 - because on my system it is fine. (Duel core CPU and 8GB RAM) Bear in mind that Lightroom CC is the same program for ALL users. So, the only logical explanation is the system configuration and that could be difficult to troubleshoot. I don't think that Lightroom is the cause.
However, it might be better just to close Lightroom, before hibernation to avoid any problems with running Lightroom.

Thanks for the suggestion it would alleviate the problem but is a pain to remember to close Lightroom each time. Some memory training (mine not PC) maybe.
I am having difficulty sorting out if it is a Windows or Lightroom problem as on first startup after being on holidays for two weeks there was a Windows update and the Lightroom update.
Before both of these updates Lightroom was very stable.

Lightroom is now unstable in the library and develop module with no predictable pattern of usage causing it to become unresponsive. The only fix is to kill the process and start again.
Prior to the latest 2 updates I have not had any problems.
I hope someone can suggest a fix.

I turned off use of graphic processor accelerator in preferences and that seems to have done the trick for me. at least for now.

I have disabled the GPU accelerator and that increased the time I have to edit before Lightroom becomes unresponsive. Sadly it has not fixed the problem.
Adobe can you please suggest a fix or work around this is driving me mad.
