Acrobat 2017 Horribly Inefficient

Are there old-style menu bar options available for Acrobat 2017?  The new interface is horribly inefficient.
I'd rather be back on Acrobat 9.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, I can understand that you need the old style menu bar options in Acrobat 2017, Is that correct?

The Acrobat 2017 user interface has three views - Home, Tools, and Document.

Home

This is the gateway or the landing page when you don’t have a PDF opened in Acrobat.

Tools

This is the go-to place to discover the tools that are available in Acrobat. All Acrobat tools are shown in this view.

Document

This is the default view whenever a document is opened in Acrobat. When you open multiple documents, each document opens as a tab in the same application window.

If you wish to change the user interface, you can customize it by choosing Custom Tools panel and navigation pane. For detailed information how to customize them, you can refer to Adobe article Adobe Acrobat Workspace basics
