Every time I start Lightroom Classic CC I get this 'Error message':

MCPublishCache.lua:341: CloudService.lua:397: CloudService.lua:355: {

message = "Retrieving token https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/token: 400 --- {\

  \"error\" : \"invalid_grant\",\

  \"error_description\" : \"Bad Request\"\

}",

errorCode = "serverError",

}

What does it mean, can I avoid this?

Thank you !

Next thing to try is to reset the preferences: Resetting Preferences in Lightroom CC/6

If it does not help, I'd then remove and reinstall LR.

Hi garyb11635690,

Sorry that you're getting error message while opening Lightroom Classic CC.

I'd recommend that you post this as a new discussion on our Lightroom Classic CC feedback community here: Lightroom Classic CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community so that our Engineers can take a look into it.

For troubleshooting, I would suggest that you disable your Lightroom. Go to File >Plug-in Manager and start disabling plugins one by one until you stop seeing the error message. Another suggestion would be to reinstall the application from the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Akash

Do you have a gmail account configured to be able to send photos directly from LR?

If yes, remove this configuration, restart LR and the re-create it.

Here's how you'd set it up: https://photographylife.com/how-to-email-photographs-in-lightroom

You need to open the Email Account Manager.

I didn’t have a gmail account configured in Lightroom. I setup one now, and it worked well. So I closed LR and reopened it again. The same Error Message… I removed the gmail setup. I restarted LR, same Error Message… I reinstalled the gmail setup, restarted LR and still the same Error Message…

I apologise for disturbing you all the time. I never had this problem before, but it started I think by the 2 last updates. Maybe there is the clue. I could remove LR from my MacBook and reinstall… what do you think?

Greetings
