Hi,

I have a problem with my Premiere Pro CC 2018: image buffer. Whenever I click play (I had already done my editing before this occurred), the screen turns red, shows an uncoordinated sequence of frames, randomly through the red and a sometimes sped-up, sometimes slowed-down audio. Sometimes, it just refuses to play. It is constantly crashing. I did record the video and audio separately, but I edited them together. My 'error' screen also says I have a problem with importerMPEG as well.

I have:

The latest windows 10

i5 7th gen core

8-Gig ram

NVIDIA Geforce

Thanks!

What camera and DAR were used to record the video and audio?

I used OBS screen recording software, not a camera. Sorry if that was unclear.

My audio is from my computer's microphone, through OBS.

OK, I would recommend Step 2B below in this case.

J_B-L,

Have you tried transcoding as Jim_Simon has suggested?

Thanks,
