Saving pictures in Photoshop 2018

I use to click on "save as" type in a name for the file and where I wanted it saved now I get this message " Check the file name File Not Found".

I also get this same message when I try to save any PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.

When did they change how you can save documents and pictures.

Where are you trying to save? Can you save to desktop instead (for a test)?
