PDF document with filled in information

I open a PDF document.  It is a fill in document.  I fill in information and save as PDF.  When I open with Safari and go to print the information I filled in is gone. How do I save a PDF document as Acrobat Reader?  Maybe this will work.

I have been informed not to open in Preview as it will corrupt the PDF file/form?

Open the document in Acrobat Reader, fill it, and save it.
