Is there a way to only see the photos in one folder?

Is there a preference somewhere that I can set so that when I click on a folder I ONLY SEE the photos in THAT folder -without seeing all the photos in its subfolders?

While in the Library module, go to the Library menu and uncheck the option to show photos in subfolders. It's about halfway down that menu list.
