When I import the pictures of a folder lightroom classic shows me the correct number of pictures (i. e. 1314). They are all marked but after import there are only 25 in the catalogue. It drives me mad. Can anyone help me? Thanks!!!!

The photos have previously been imported and are already in your catalog. There is no need to import them again.

To find the photos, please follow all four of these steps (not one or two or three of these steps, but ALL FOUR)

  1. Click on All Photographs on the left-hand side of the Lightroom LIbrary Module
  2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
  3. Expand all stacks (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
  4. Search for one of the problem photos by file name using the Lightroom Filter bar
