Hi,

I have this new problem with Photoshop CC 2018.

When I go to Preferences > Performance, PS is seeing only 3GB of RAM out of my total 8GB. I cant adjust the slider to let PS use more than 3GB.

I am using PS for about a year now and I did not encounter this problem before.

I am running the 64bit version, at least the info in PS says so.

Hi

Adobe released Photoshop 19.1.5 today which fixes the issue.

Once installed, to allow Photoshop to manage memory - the temporary fix needs to be removed . See this :

Error while accessing performance preferences - 'An integer between 96 and 8 is required.'

Yes, tried that just now. It did not help, still seeing only 3gigs available. Also tried reinstalling PS.

As I understand we'll need to wait for the next update for this issue to be solved.

Hello, there is a workaround that involves tweaking the registry before a fix to the software that cures the issue created by the fall creators update from Microsoft : Invalid Numeric Entry - An integer between 96 and 8 is required
