PC crashed! I've located the catalog and photos on the hard drive and attached it to a usb port on my new Mac. Lightroom classic 7.3.1 is installed on the Mac. What is the best way to get the photos and the old catalog moved or copied to the Mac or a new hard drive on the Mac?
Copy everything over, open the catalog and send it off to find the photos? Or....
Open the catalog on the external hard drive, find the photos then move the catalog and photos using one of the techniques described in the forum? or....
Wait for a full moon, sacrifice an old PC and chant a healing spell?
There is about 15 years of photos in limbo and I don't want to start the process incorrectly and have a bunch of clean up to do....
