clips are importing as 1 sec clips

hello I am having a problem when I import my clips.....the clips are popping up as one second clips and I am not sure why. I have tried in-installing and re-installing the app but it still does not import the clip as its normal recorded timed clip. CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP

You may want to use https://handbrake.fr/ open source transcoder/converter to convert to a codec that will edit

Very little info: what OS, which Premiere build (not just 2018)

Please post screenshot of a clip in media info in treeview.

Is this an Elgato recorded clip?

We dont do email here on the forum.

I didn't know about the email part this is my first time encountering a problem I cant fix so I came her for help.

yes the clip is recorded from legato for gameplay and it is only the legato recorded ones\

as for the premier build I don't have any "other versions" like cc 12.1 or cc 12.0.1 downloaded it is just the normal 2018 build that I update every time. Recent update for it was April 3

my OS build for the windows system is  16299.431......I'm not sure if that is the case because I've had this computer for a while and this is the first time this problem has occurred

There is a known issue with Elgato clips.

You will have to wait for a fix or revert back to previous version.

If you go into the CC app and twirl down next to Open you will find other versions.
