As the title says, the current version of Acrobat Pro DC doesn't show any opened files that are located on iCloud.
Files located on my HDD are showing up in the list.
Does someone else has this problem?
OS: macOS Sierra
Acrobat Build: 17.9.20044.222436
Hi Kevin,
The files are saved in the iCloud drive.
Once you turn off the iCloud from the Mac settings, all the files will be removed from the Mac.
So, basically, these files are not saved locally.
Try to copy and save those files in some other folder on your Mac.
Then try to open the file from there, it will appear in the Recent list in the application.
The application is designed to work like this.
Hope this answers your query.
Let us know if you still have questions.

Hello Meenakshi,
thanks for your reply as I'm still experiencing this problem. I already was told by Adobe @Twitter that this is not bug, but a missing feature. But let me explain again what my problem is:
- I open a file that is located within my iCloud files by double clicking it in finder.
- After I close it, it doesn't appear in the list of recently opened files (File -> Recently Opened Files)
I don't get any error messages.
Since the function tells me, that it shows me my recently opened files, I would rate this as a bug, right?
Greetings,
Kevin
PS: could you please edit your last post and delete my name? I just changed my name at Adobe.com

Hi Kevin,
As I understand the files are saved on the iCloud and not in any local location on your Mac.
If that is the case, then the files will not appear in the recent list.
The recent list only shows the files that are either saved on local location on the machine or Document Cloud if you are connected.
This is an as designed behavior.
Hope the information helps.
Let us know if you have any questions.

Hello Meenakshi,
files on the iCloud are stored in the following folder (MacOS): ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/
So there is a local copy of the opened file on my hard drive.
Is it still designed to work like this?
To be honest, it feels a little bit like I get somewhat forced to use the Document Cloud.
Greetings,
Kevin
