Hi,

I am trying to get Lightroom background to be all black.  This happens with lights of under Window menu but then I can not utilize the secondary display.  I also went in the preferences under EDIT-Preferences-Interface-Background-Main window-black but nothing changes.

What am i missing?

Thanks,

Dean

Hi Dean,

The color in the side panels would remain gray and is not customizable.

Background and Lights out screen color can be set to black. The background color for the secondary monitor needs to separately managed.

Right click on the empty area in the secondary display menu and select black as the background color.

Primary monitor:-

Interface Preferences:-

Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Akash

In Library mode it remains gray.  Why is that?

Hi there,

Sorry about the delay in my response. Are you referring to the background color behind the image in Loupe view?

Also, which version of Lightroom are you using?

Thanks,

Akash
