PPro -> Resolve, off-speed

I edit in PPro, and often have 29.97/30fps footage that I interpret as 25 (in a 25 sequence) to avoid any speed artifacts.

If I round-trip that to Resolve, via XML, the source in/outs are off for those clips

Other than eye-matching, anyone experienced this and have a solution?

Thanks

Answer I got elsewhere was to modify clip to 25fos in Resolve & maths works out correctly. Seemed to work - will try & remember next time!!

Trevor_Asq,

Try exporting a discrete clip at that frame rate, reimport it, then send the XML to Resolve. Does that work?

Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin
