CS6 importing into CC

Hi all

please can somebody tell me if it's possible to import CS6 files into CC from a Mac to PC.

I am teaching my business partner to edit and he cannot afford the CC licence so thought I would buy him the OEM version of CS6 just for him to learn on.

Yes you can but possibly with errors.
