Premiere Pro 12.0.1 - 0k files in projects directory

Hi,

I have a strange issue.  Since we moved our Mac Pro to an NFS mount for it's PP projects folder multiple 0k files have been adding up.  New ones are being created constantly, see pic below.  Is there a way to stop this?

Sorry for the trouble. What is the file format of the files? They look like Media Cache files. What is the set location of the Media Cache?

Hi.  Thanks for the reply.

These are 0KB files.  They show up in Windows as File.  In Mac they show up as TextEdit Document.  Please see preference page for details of Media Cache location.  The location set is not where these files are ending up.

The version is 12.0.1 (build69)

Thanks for sharing the info. Is there a specific reason for using 12.0.1 version of Premiere Pro, as 12.1.1 is the latest version?

Just for a test, please install the latest version of Premiere Pro & check the issue: Update Creative Cloud apps

What is the exact location in which these files are getting created? Are these files getting populated in the footage folder?
