I use Lightroom Classic CC. I have a copy on my laptop in Iraq and a copy on my desktop in U.K. I shoot with a Fuji GFX50s with RAW (RAF) files. Only theMoreno recent versions or Classic CC work with RAF files. So far so good, LR working well on both machines.
currenty in U.K. Shooting RAW and processing fine in LR. Came to merge catalogue used at work with catalogue at home. LR on Desktop would not recognise catalogue, and told me I needed to update my version of LR. So far so good.
i went wrong by going to Adobe Creative Cloud. CC is showing Lightroom cc 2015. I tried to update, but CC will not update. I deleted LR through the CC app, with a view to reinstalling. LR available as trial only... but I am a subscriber.
turned machine off and on again. LR now available to download. Downloaded, but this is the cc version 2015...
now i I have lost (1) Lightroom Classic CC (2) the ability to edit GFX files and (3) 2 hours of my life. Hours that will never come back. And I'm getting old guys, I'm probably buying my last pair of shoes soon.
How do I get back to the most recent version of Lightroom Classic cc? Can anyone explain it in laymans terms?
best regards to all.
chris

Thanks John. I completely uninstalled and then reinstalled. No joy.
Now I need to sleep. This is what I am getting, posted on a photography thread;
