Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.1 Raw 10.3 Hangs when removing a file

This seemed to run fine on my last system. I just upgraded the system and installed Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC and now it hangs when I remove a file. I click on a file, right click a file and click remove a photo, then click remove in the pop up window and the program hangs indefinitely. It also often forgets the most recent changes I have made. If I tell it to delete from the disk, it works fine.

Any ideas?

Sorry that Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.1 is freezing while deleting a file.

Does this problem occurs with a specific collection or folder in Lightroom?

Where are the images you're trying to remove located on your computer?

Happens in every instance. The files are saved in the installation default.

Could you please create anew catalog in Lightroom and then import few images to test if the issue persists.

I have always used my system drive (c:) which is an SSD. I have a temp area on my desktop. When I am done, I move to my secondary drive.

I just uninstalled and reinstall with no special settings. The problem is still there.

One year have passed and the problem still persists. I have just recently updated Lightroom Classic to latest version and it is still not working. Did not have this problem in previous system. SOMETIMES right after launching Lightroom and deleting one photo it does not hang, but during regular work Lightroom deletes selected pictures and hangs.
